Hardware Firewall

To protect your investment we recommend a hardware firewall for all server solutions.  A hardware firewall provides a physical barrier between your servers and the outside world, which can be configured to remove the risk of access from a hostile source.  As a separate device a hardware firewall eliminates the risk of performance deterioration.

For added security, we use Cisco hardware, the industry recognised leader in network security; providing robust, reliable and high performance hardware. For peace of mind, just leave the configuration to us, you tell us what you need to run and who needs access and we will do the rest.

Security Updates or Patches

We constantly update our security systems to ensure optimal protection for our customers, reviewing all security updates as they become available. Depending on your level of service, security updates are made available for all Business server customers to apply at their convenience.  Alternatively, we offer a fully managed solution for our Enterprise level customers.  Enterprise customers may choose between a regular weekly or monthly maintenance window and then relax in the knowledge that our dedicated Technical Services team will apply and manage the security updates to your servers.

Security Audits

All our Enterprise level solutions are audited monthly for security vulnerabilities. Reports are sent directly to our dedicated Technical Services team for review.

Anti-Virus

Our Provisioning team ensure that all servers deployed with Microsoft Windows are installed with ESET NOD32 anti-virus software along with the latest definition updates.
