Dedipower Managed Hosting operates and owns its own autonomous network system (AS24931) based in Reading, Berkshire. We have three connections entering our building at different locations, plus an additional backup connection to our Disaster Recovery Site, delivered over different fibre networks to several Tier-1 ISPs. We operate full BGP4 to enable us to efficiently load balance our traffic and also provide complete redundancy. If one of our connections should fail all traffic will automatically be routed down our alternative connections within seconds. 
We have carefully chosen our three providers. Mistral have some of the best peering and connectivity in the UK and worldwide. Level3 have over 20,000 miles of fibre in the USA and Europe, which gives us fast links across the USA. We also maintain our own direct peering with 100's of ISPs in London including NTL, Nildram, Pipex, Janet, BBC and many others providing a direct route for a large proportion of our traffic. By being carrier independent DediPower Managed Hosting take full advantage of each of the respective providers strengths and at the same time avoids their weaknesses.
